New era of seamless mobility as Salik expands cashless valet parking payments across UAE
Smart mobility initiative strengthens digital transformation across transport services
DUBAI – Salik Company PJSC, Dubai’s sole toll gate operator, has entered into a strategic partnership with Valtrans Transportation Systems and Services, a prominent UAE-based transport management firm.
The collaboration aims to introduce a seamless digital payment system for valet parking services across more than 100 locations nationwide. The service is scheduled to go live on 1 June 2026, marking a further step in the UAE’s expanding smart mobility ecosystem.
The initiative will allow customers to use Salik’s e-Wallet for fast and contactless valet parking payments at key destinations, including retail, commercial, hospitality, and entertainment hubs.
Digital rollout
Under the agreement, Salik will be fully integrated as a digital payment option within Valtrans-operated valet parking sites. Users will be able to complete transactions directly through their Salik e-Wallet, eliminating the need for cash or separate payment terminals. The system will be deployed across more than 100 locations throughout the UAE, including major destinations such as Mall of the Emirates and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The rollout is designed to streamline the valet parking experience at high-traffic venues where speed and efficiency are essential. By embedding Salik’s digital infrastructure into Valtrans’ operations, the partnership is expected to reduce waiting times and improve service fluidity. The integration also supports real-time transaction processing, reinforcing the growing shift towards cashless mobility solutions across the country.
Network expansion
The collaboration builds on Salik’s ongoing efforts to expand its digital payment ecosystem beyond traditional toll gate operations. In recent years, the company has steadily introduced smart mobility solutions across various parking and transport environments. This includes its first barrier-free parking payment solution launched in partnership with Emaar Malls Company, which laid the foundation for wider integration across urban mobility services.

Salik further expanded its footprint through a strategic agreement with Parkonic, with services now active at more than 150 out of over 200 locations. This marked the company’s first expansion beyond Dubai, extending its services across the UAE. In another milestone, Salik partnered with Dubai Airports to enable seamless parking payments via its e-Wallet at Dubai International Airport, covering Terminals 1, 2, 3, and the Cargo Terminal.
Smart mobility vision
The partnership with Valtrans is aligned with Salik’s broader strategy to position itself as a central enabler of smart mobility solutions in the UAE. The company continues to develop scalable digital systems that extend beyond tolling infrastructure into everyday transport services. The focus remains on delivering customer-centric, data-driven solutions that simplify mobility experiences across the emirates.

Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, Chief Executive Officer of Salik, said the agreement represents a significant step in expanding seamless payment solutions across daily mobility touchpoints. He highlighted the company’s commitment to leveraging advanced infrastructure to enhance service integration and deliver sustainable mobility solutions.
Valtrans Group Chief Executive Officer Imad Alameddine stated that the integration of Salik payments will improve transaction efficiency across its valet network. He added that the move aligns with Valtrans’ commitment to operational excellence and innovation while maintaining high service standards.
Valtrans currently operates valet parking services across airports, hospitality venues, retail centres, healthcare facilities, and public sector locations. With more than 20 years of operational experience, the company manages high-volume parking environments with a focus on reliability, control, and continuity of service.
